Dear Friends,
Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter (FOPAS) extends an invitation to you to be a sponsor of one of the Northland’s premier family events - PAWS IN THE PARK 2011 - a dog walk festival to benefit FOPAS. This will be the sixth consecutive year English Landing Park in Parkville, MO will come alive with a parade of people at our annual canine convention!
FOPAS is a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer operated, no-kill animal shelter. In our eleven years we have rescued thousands of abandoned dogs and cats and placed them in forever homes. We fulfill a vital need for our community by providing shelter and care for these animals until they can be placed in a home.
Paws in the Park is held each year in historic Parkville’s beautiful English Landing Park right on the banks of the Missouri River. The 68 acre park has towering trees and offers 3 miles of wide walking trails for dogs and their human companions to enjoy including a scenic riverfront path.
From 9:00am until Noon, people and their pets from all over the Kansas City area will come to enjoy a one-mile walk, vendor booths, demonstrations, and much more. This event is one of the largest and most enjoyed events in the Northland and will introduce you to a multitude of dog-loving consumers.
Last year our festival brought out approximately 3,000 FOPAS friends and their 4-legged pals.
For the small price of a Paws in the Park sponsorship, you will gain positive name recognition by the thousands of people who support us. The money FOPAS raises at this event helps to fund our day-to-day work for the homeless animals in our care; so, please participate at the highest level possible. This is a wonderful opportunity for exposure for your business!
